Glastonbury delays expected due to fire
Music fans travelling to this year's Glastonbury festival may be delayed due to a fire at a nearby scrapyard.
A thick plume of black smoke is visible from within the grounds and those living close to the fire have been forced to evacuate their homes. The fire is situated in Pylle, about a mile from the festival site.
The A37, one of the main routes into the festival, has been closed and police say it will not be reopened for another five hours. However, Simon Hicks who runs the Glastonbury gate says he only anticipates slight delays.
On a brighter note, the weather is great on site and forecasters are predicting a brighter affair than last year's mudbath. There may a few showers though, so don't dump those wellies just yet.
